Cookie Policy

What are cookies and how do they work

Cookies are small text files that the sites visited by a user send to his/her terminal and are usually saved in the browser’s folders where they are stored in order to be re-transmitted to the same sites the next time the user visits.
Thanks to cookies, the Company’s server receives information that is re-read and updated every time the user returns to the Company’s site.
Cookies contain at least the following information

indication of the server from which they were generated (or domain)
their duration (or expiry date);
a unique identification code;
a unique value.
What are cookies used for?

Cookies make it easier to browse the site and improve the browsing experience. Cookies also provide the site operator with anonymous information on users’ browsing, including for the purpose of obtaining statistical data on site use.
The information collected can also be used to build a profile of the preferences expressed by the user while browsing, in order to customise marketing messages.

Types of cookies

Cookies can be divided into the following categories: Technical cookies and Profiling cookies.

Technical cookies

Technical cookies allow the site to function optimally, but the user can decide not to allow their use by modifying the settings of the browser used, bearing in mind that deactivating these cookies may prevent access to certain functions of the site.
Within Technical Cookies it is possible to distinguish:

Navigation cookies

They are necessary to navigate through the site using all of its features (e.g. session maintenance and access to restricted areas) and do not collect information to be used for commercial purposes. Without these cookies it would not be possible to provide the services requested.

Functionality cookies

They allow the user to navigate according to a set of selected criteria (e.g. site language) and in this way facilitate navigation. The information collected by these cookies is anonymous.

Analytics cookies

These are assimilated to technical cookies where they are used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site. They are used to optimise the management of the site itself. The information collected by these cookies does not allow the user to be identified. The installation of technical cookies does not require the prior consent of the users, while the obligation to provide information remains.
The acquisition and processing of data resulting from the use of technical cookies is mandatory for consulting the site. In the event of opposition on the part of the user, complete and correct viewing of the site will not be possible.

Profiling cookies

These cookies make it possible to acquire information relating to the user’s preferences, which are used to send advertising messages consistent with the profiling and preferences detected on the basis of the navigation performed. Profiling cookies cannot be installed on users’ terminals unless they have been adequately informed beforehand and have given their valid consent.
